We’re already seeing interactive music take off with our Web and iPhone apps (check out these engagement numbers). We’ve also been testing our interactive solutions on the iPad and Over the Top TV (Internet connected TVs). The iPhone MXP4-powered apps from David Guetta and Sliimy translate beautifully to the iPad, as its screen size lends it a perfect interactive album-type experience. We then took our Web apps from artists like Paramore and Michael Jackson and tested them out on a large screen HDTV (using the Sony Playstation as the broadband platform). Sitting back and playing with an MXP4 album by remixing songs and using the application to sing karaoke style were easier than playing a video game. Imagine a (near) future playing with you favorite album on your TV where you can immediately mix it, watch videos, and sing karaoke with your friends.
The future is already in our living room – check out the MXP4 on TV pics and iPad test app run below.
